I build the design systems that other designers build on. For about 15 years at Vanguard, Woven by Toyota, Google, BitTorrent, and Apple, that's meant design tokens, component architecture, and the standards that keep products consistent and accessible as teams grow.

The work I'm proudest of is the kind people don't see: a token foundation that carries a global rebrand without breaking what already shipped, a component library that makes building on-brand easier than going off-system, and a tool that catches an accessibility failure before it ships, not after. I define token systems, maintain the Figma libraries teams work from, prototype functional tools in Figma Make, and use Claude Code to automate the repetitive parts of systems work.

When I hit a problem that repeats across a whole product, my instinct isn't to write a guideline and hope it's to build the thing that makes the right outcome the default. That, plus inclusive design built in from the start, is the throughline across everything here.
